Springtime on the Farm fans were left disappointed after an old episode of the show was rerun on Channel 5 due to a technical fault.
The latest episode of this season, celebrating UK farmers throughout spring as they hurry to bring new life into the world, was slated to visit the Cotswolds.
However, after it began to play, it became evident that the episode was the same one that aired on Easter Monday last year.
It featured goat babies being born and a farmer raising water buffalo and utilising their milk to produce high-quality mozzarella.
Viewers instantly noticed and expressed their disappointment on social media over missing out on a fresh show hosted by the previous Strictly Come Dancing participant.
‘What happened? Watching a repeat of last year, gutted,’ one person posted on Twitter.
‘Feel like I’ve been cheated out of an episode. hope we get an extra episode at the end for what we’ve missed,’ another wrote.
One fan also added: ‘‘Why are Channel 5 showing last year’s Springtime on the farm, where is the new series?’
Channel 5 later apologized, saying there was a ‘technical glitch’ with the planned Springtime on the Farm broadcast.
‘It will be back tomorrow at 8pm as planned, all new,’ it added in a statement posted on social media.
After revealing that her marriage to husband Richie Myler had ended last year, Helen spoke out about how she was coping in the aftermath of the breakup last week.
The 39-year-old broadcaster prefers to keep the intimate aspects of her relationship private, although she did discuss it with Grazia.
‘My life’s no different to millions of other people’s lives. Lots of people have the same sorts of things to look after and sort out,’ she said.
‘I think life is fun, and short, and wonderful, and you just take each chapter as they come along.
She added that there was ‘no point overthinking stuff’ and she ‘just got on with it’.
Springtime on the Farm is streaming on My5.
