After suggesting a possible return for the lads in the future, Harry Styles has us all fantasising of a One Direction reunion.
Harry, 29, teased the long-awaited reunion on the last Late Late Show with James Corden before the comedian, 44, returns to the UK.
One Direction were regular guests on James’ late-night talk show until 2015, when they went on indefinite hiatus following the departure of Zayn Malik.
Harry has featured as a musical guest on a number of occasions since then, after establishing a successful solo career with albums such as 2022’s Harry’s House.
During his most recent appearance, James couldn’t help but ask the As It Was singer if there were any plans for One Direction to reunite.
After pausing to think, Harry said: ‘I would never say never to that.’ As the audience cheered loudly, James leaned in and gave Harry a high five.
Harry continued: ‘I think if there was a time where we all felt that that was what we wanted to do then I don’t see why we wouldn’t.’
As the final edition of James’ show aired, Harry seized the opportunity to express his pride in all James had accomplished in America over the past decade.
While expressing pride and gratitude for James’ achievements in the United States, Harry expressed delight that the Gavin & Stacey star was returning home.
On the final episode, James had guests like Adele and Tom Cruise join him to say goodbye before delivering an emotional monologue.
Furthermore, James savaged his own mother live on air by making a joke about how much Botox she’s allegedly had over the years.
And US President Joe Biden even stopped by via video to say: ‘I’m going to miss you buddy. ‘Thank you for never forcing me to sing in the vehicle.’
As if that wasn’t enough, Hollywood actor Tom Cruise stunned the crowd by fully immersing himself in a Lion King comedy.
