Harry Styles is the latest star to read a CBeebies Bedtime Story and we bet people of all ages will be setting some time aside for this one.

The As It Was hitmaker, 28, will be rocking some fashionable pyjamas (of course) to read In Every House, on Every Street, written by Jess Hitchman – which is based on a heartwarming celebration of homes and the different families that live in them.

Introducing the story, Harry says: ‘Tonight’s bedtime story is about a house full of love and laughter.’

BBC made the announcement on social media and, judging by the reaction, it’s safe to say this is going to be a treat for non-parents, especially after the musician lent his soothing voice to the popular sleep and meditation app Calm in 2020.

One fan wrote: ‘laughing cause this is targeted towards children but a bunch of us 20+ year olds are gonna be majority of the listeners

‘And just like that, the record for ‘highest ratings for a CBeebies bedtime story’ was broken…’ another added.

The Dunkirk star joins quite a list of musicians and other stars who have previously read CBeebies Bedtime Stories, including Kate Middleton, Dolly Parton, Tom Hardy, Rege-Jean Page, Rose Ayling-Ellis and Dave Grohl.

The upcoming special premieres on Monday May 23, which ties in with the release of his third album, Harry’s House, which comes out on Friday.

To celebrate its highly-anticipated release, the singer announced a special One Night Only gig in London’s Brixton Academy, and, as expected, tickets were in high demand.

So high, that they sold out almost immediately following presale on May 10 and general sale on May 11.

The most expensive tickets are for the circle section of the Academy gig, with an asking price of an £1503 (yikes) with the second-most being £1053, followed by £848.

The One Night Only Brixton gig will take place on Tuesday May 24, where he will play brand new tracks from his upcoming album.

And after Harry took centre stage at Coachella last month and performed with good friend Lizzo and the one the one-and-only Shania Twain – it’s certainly going to be a night to remember.

Fans are also looking forward to seeing the Adore You singer starring in the upcoming thriller Don’t Worry Darling and the drama My Policeman.

In Every House, on Every Street read by Harry Styles will air on Monday 23 May at 6.50pm BBC One.
