Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid flew solo on today’s ITV show amid a presenter shake-up.

The host usually sits alongside a rotation of other presenters, including Richard Madeley, Adil Ray, Martin Lewis and more.

She’s previously even compared the roulette of Good Morning Britain hosts to speed dating, as bosses have stopped trying to find a permanent replacement for Piers Morgan following his notorious walk-out last year.

However, today she was alone on the show, before being joined by Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis.

Martin stood beside her for a special segment to take viewer’s phone calls and concerns amid the rising cost of living.

Usually, Richard Madeley would be hosting with Susanna on Wednesday’s.

But today, she was on screen alone for the first hour of the show, and neglected to address why.

Viewers took to Twitter questioning why there had been a presenter shake-up, with many supporting Susanna presenting on her own.

One wrote: ‘So much of a calmer programme with Richard – it’s nice to see Susanna going Solo.’

Another asked: ‘Where is the co-host @susannareid100? You are doing fine on your own but was this planned or a scheduling issue?’

Susanna, who has hosted the show since 2014, has had her rotation of co-hosts jokingly described by Lorraine Kelly as ‘TV Tinder’.

Speaking to Lorraine last month, she joked: ‘It is a little bit like speed-dating, there has been a fair few fellas.’

Although she added she ‘quite liked’ the rotation of presenters by her side.

‘As the late great Bruce Forsyth would say, “They’re all my favourites!”

‘Because to me, it’s important that whoever’s on screen the relationship has to work.

‘They’re all talented in their own ways, and they’ve all got a wealth of experience.’

She finished: ‘It’s a privilege working with them all.’

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
