Gogglebox viewers in hysterics after cast bop along to Norway’s Eurovision performance Give That Wolf A Banana

Gogglebox viewers were left in hysterics after watching the cast bop along to Norway’s Eurovision entry.

Subwoolfer performed an iconic song at the Eurovision grand final, titled ‘Give That Wolf A Banana.’

The two performers – who go by pseudonyms Keith and Jim and claim to have been formed ‘4.5 billion years ago on the Moon’ – wore black suits with white shirts, plus a distinctive yellow wolf head masks, yellow gloves and ties.

Watching the hit song, the Gogglebox cast attempted to recreate the dance as they song along to the catchy tune.

‘That’s not very difficult to do Mary, I think we could do that,’ Gogglebox star Giles began, as he and his wife started following Subwoolfer’s hand movements.

Meanwhile, Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan were in fits of laughter over the song’s lyrics, and each performer’s name being dropped in as ‘I’m not sure you have a name, so I will call you Keith.’

On their sofa, Simon and Jane tried to ‘interpret’ the ‘banana’ song, with Simon at one point saying ‘If that’s not a chat-up line I don’t know what was’ as the performers sung ‘I want your grandma yum yum,’ while Giles continued: ‘If I was in a nightclub and saw this I’d definitely think someone had spiked my drink.’

Stephen and Daniel took the dancing one step further, with Daniel throwing a whole load of bananas to Stephen on the sofa, as he sung along ‘Give me that banana.’

The results were pretty hilarious, with fans taking to social media to share their giggles.

‘Things you love to see; this song causing a Banana-rama on #Gogglebox,’ one viewer wrote.

Another penned: ‘Thanks #Gogglebox, I’ve only just got Norway’s Eurovision song out of my head and now it’s back in.’

Ahead of watching Norway’s performance, the Gogglebox cast gushed over Sam Ryder’s entry.

‘He’s brilliant,’ Pete Sandiford commented, with his sister Sophie adding: ‘I love his outfit as well, it’s kind of like pearly king vibe.’

Pete quipped: ‘Yeah, but also could fix your boiler at the same time!’

Sophie confirmed: ‘Like a space-themed, pearly king, plumber.’

Gogglebox airs Fridays at 9pm on Channel 4.
