Stephen Webb is leaving Channel 4’s Gogglebox after a decade on the show. We won’t be able to catch up with the hairdresser on a Friday night at 9 p.m., which saddens us and his co-stars.
Writing on his choice to resign Stephen, 52, claimed that he wanted to ‘explore other chances’ with his partner Daniel Lustig-Webb after being apart for so long.
‘After careful consideration, Daniel and I have decided we will not be returning for the new series of Gogglebox,’ he shared on Instagram.
‘We feel the time is right to move on and explore other opportunities.’
His coworkers who were watching TV swamped the page with good luck remarks and voiced their anguish.
‘Aww that’s upset me and Shirley, to think your finishing but we all take different paths you both take care lots of love,’ wrote Dave Griffiths, who appears on the show with his wife Shirley Griffiths.
Jenny Newby and Lee Riley wrote: ‘Good luck 🍀to you both we will miss you but if you feel the time is right it’s right no more PRE-AMBLES lucky twats 😂🤣😂🤣much love to you both 😘😘’.
‘So sorry to hear this, Jane and I will miss you. Watching how you did it was super helpful to us newbies. And I will miss your quips about my hair! 😂😍 Best of luck with whatever you do next. Thank you for all the joy and laughter. X,’ wrote Simon Minty.
