Mica Ven, a former Gogglebox star, has announced the birth of her second grandchild.
From 2018 to 2022, the TV personality featured on the reality series with boyfriend Marcus Luther, and she most recently appeared on Celebrity MasterChef.
Mica, 44, has said that she is also keeping busy with a new addition to the family after her daughter Shuggy gave birth.
She announced the news on Instagram with a cute video of the newborn’s feet.
‘Don’t mind me, I’m just round here enjoying Granternity leave from work with the youngest member of the gang,’ she began.
‘Blessed and grateful beyond measure to have our second grandchild,’ she added while tagging her daughter.
‘He’s beautiful, he’s healthy and I’m gonna try my very best as his Granny to remember he’s not actually mine (but that didn’t work with Koko so let’s just say he’s MINE).’
Mica’s second grandchild follows the birth of her grandson Koko last year.
She continued: ‘Welcome to this crazy world Amir Santana. You’ll grow up to be well respected and well protected in these streets.’
Mica was inundated with words of support from loved ones and friends, who offered their congratulations.
Babatunde Aleshe, a comedian and Celebrity Gogglebox star, posted a sequence of love hearts, while a fan added “welcome to the world.”
Many others praised her for joking about being on ‘Granternity leave’ and claiming her grandkids as her own.
‘Had to lol at this – my grandson is mine too, drives my daughter nuts! Congratulations,’ one person posted.
Another wrote: ‘Grandkids are the most precious thing ever. Enjoy your bubble.’
Mica has two kids named Sachelle and Shuggy from a previous relationship, while Marcus, 37, has a son named Shiloh Defreitas.
They also have a son, Yash, together.
Mica told Metro.co.uk this month that she’missed everything’ about the programme when the family stepped down from their position last year.
‘I love them. I love them so much. The production team, the actual show, being a part of it – it was definitely the best,’ she said.
‘We still feel like they’re huge boots to fill. It was a wonderful platform to come into the industry on Gogglebox and you don’t have to learn any lines. I don’t have time to learn the lines. And I was working from home, I didn’t have to travel far. I was working next to my man and I like him!’
While she said she would jump at the chance to return one day, she admitted it probably ‘didn’t work like that’.
Gogglebox is streaming on Channel 4.
