Daisy Kelliher’s surprising relationship with Colin MacRae on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season four was never going to be easy sailing, but we weren’t anticipating this much turmoil from it.
In the most recent episode, sparks flew between the head stewardess and the engineer when they finally kissed after a boozy night out.
That might all change as Gary King delivered a big bombshell in the midseason trailer, admitting that he had sex with his co-star after months of speculation.
In the brief tape, the bosun could be heard responding to the burgeoning closeness between Colin and Daisy, who informed him: ‘You f**king could’ve had me a million times over and you didn’t want me.
‘Now that you can’t have me, now you f**king want me.’
Unhappy with the change in their dynamic, he spat: ‘Having sex with you was f**king amazing.’
She screamed, ‘Shut the f**k up,’ clearly not wanting their closeness to become public knowledge.
Fans have seen the duo kiss in the past, but despite their flirty connection, they have always maintained that they are only good friends.
Colin was shocked to learn of their previous familiarity, saying in a confessional, “The chemistry that they have, the way that they look at each other, I thought it was all friends.”
‘It all makes sense now.’
Daisy was driven to her breaking point by the love triangle and begged: ‘There’s two of you in my brain. You’re both messing with my mind. ‘I don’t want you in my f**king brain.’
Daisy’s romance with Colin surprised many when it was revealed in the first season four teaser earlier this year.
Gary was not than thrilled by the news, and accused the head of the interior team of ‘spitefully’ hooking up to get ‘back at him’.
Speaking about the video, the stew said that his behaviour caught her off guard.
‘That was shocking,’ she told us of his anger. ‘I don’t know what Gary’s game is, even me watching the episodes, it’s like watching a whole new show.
‘Seeing him go after the girl that all the boys go [for], it felt like Gary was jealous because he just didn’t want Colin to have me. It didn’t feel like, at the time, he genuinely had feelings for me. Of course, I’m confused – do I go with my instinct? Do I go with what I’m being told?
‘Watching the series progress, I’m like, my instinct was 100% right, you just wanted me because I was a prize to you, like I was a shiny toy. At least in my opinion.’
Daisy and Gary had an obvious connection, and fans have spent much of the previous two years hoping the casemates will end up together.
Discussing why everyone is hoping for a happy ending, the Bravo star continued: ‘It’s like watching a love story, [a] will they / won’t they? You want that story at the end where you’re like, “Oh my god, they’ve sailed off together in the sunset and they’re so happy.”
‘Unfortunately, this isn’t Disney, this is reality.’
Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs on Mondays at 8pm on Bravo, and is available to stream on the same day.
