Following Adam Collard’s surprising comeback last year, Love Island has introduced another former bombshell destined to upset the villa.
After an intense night of drama, the girls gained the upper hand in the latest recoupling on Thursday’s episode.
However, it appears that things are only getting started as narrator Iain Stirling hinted that another surprise was on its way to the villa.
‘Tomorrow night…guess who’s back,’ he teased.
A close-up of season two bombshell Kady McDermott was shown.
In 2016, she featured in the second series of the revived ITV dating programme, when she paired up with Scott Thomas. They became boyfriend and girlfriend and finished third.
Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey, who are married with two children, were elected series winners that year, with Alex and Olivia Bowen, who are also married with a kid, coming in second place.
Unfortunately, Scott, 34, did not fare as well, and the couple parted around a year after the programme.
She later dated Myles Barnett of The Only Way Is Essex, who appeared on the reality programme that made him famous, and Matty Cash of Aston Villa.
This isn’t the first time Love Island has used this twist – series four included a bombshell. Adam, known for his wandering gaze, returned to the programme in 2022 following his original 2018 appearance, and Jessie Wynter featured in the most recent winter series after appearing in the Australian version.
‘Kady was an outstanding Islander in 2016. ‘She produced excellent television, and bosses are hoping she can replicate that magic in the villa this summer,’ a TV insider told MailOnline.
But who will have their sights set on Kady? All will be revealed shortly!
Love Island continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2.
