The first trailer for American Horror Story: Delicate – Part Two is now out, depicting a passionate kiss between Kim Kardashian and Emma Roberts.
The current season of the horror anthology series was broken into two parts, with the first showing at the end of last year.
Despite raising concerns with her casting announcement, Kim impressed audiences with her depiction as sinister public relations maven Siobhan Corbyn, who is in charge of ensuring that young actress Anna Alcott (Emma) becomes a celebrity.
In the teaser for the new set of episodes, which air on FX on April 3, their relationship went from pleasant to terrible in an instant.
‘I’m going to give you the life of your dreams. What would you give up for it?,’ Siobhan teased her co-star, who simply replies: ‘Anything.’
With that, she went in for a kiss before things took a terrifying turn and became too much for Anna to handle.
‘I can’t keep campaigning for this award, I can’t,’ she cried over dinner.
Having absolutely none of it, Siobhan reached across the table and loudly slaps her, warning: ‘I will not let you say another word about quitting.’
As the footage escalated, she described herself as ‘worse’ than a monster, and added in a cryptic voiceover: ‘Sometimes you have to snap a few necks.’
A creepy message flashed across the screen, informing viewers: ‘What’s coming can’t be stopped.’
The new episodes, starring Cara Delevingne and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, will broadcast next month.
Fans took to social media to gush about the little preview and express their enthusiasm for part two.
Sea_Spread442 penned on Reddit: ‘I’m so hyped this looks AMAZING.’
‘Are things finally going to happen this season? Either way, I’m excited,’ ToxicWolf_6584 agreed.
ShineeVest70 praised: ‘Kim is actually killing this acting thing. Love to see when she tries to show her potential range at some point.’
As Whtvrcasper added: ‘She’s the best part of this season tbh [sic].’
Details on Part Two have been kept under wraps, although it will dive more into Anna’s downward spiral at the hands of her deceitful PR.
Ryan Murphy, who serves as show creator, previously opened up about what we can expect from the season, praising Kim’s ‘fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role’ to the Hollywood Reporter.
‘This season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.’
American Horror Story: Delicate – Part Two is released on April 3.
