Family Fortunes is returning to ITV in 2021, with Gino D’Acampo reprising his role as presenter.
The popular game show came back for the first time in 18 years in September, and the new run will see 20 episodes air early next year.
Speaking about returning as host, Gino said: ‘As soon as we’d finished the last season of Family Fortunes, I wanted to get straight back into the studio and film a load more episodes.
‘Thankfully, the show went down very well with the viewers and I’m so happy to be back as I had the best time. The contestants really do make the show as brilliant as it is, and I know we’re going to be hearing a lot more weird and wonderful answers to the questions I’ll be asking.’
The well-known format sees guests attempt to find the top answer from a survey question posed to 100 people, hoping to win £30,000.
The recent episodes were filmed in wake of the coronavirus pandemic, and Gino has since explained how he found it hard not being able to hug the contestants.
The presenter was shocked after there was a surprise proposal in the studio last series, as well as some typically hilarious answers from contestants.
Gino became the fourth star to present the programme earlier this year. Bob Monkhouse was the first to host the show in the early 80s, before Max Bygraves, Les Dennis and Andy Collins later went on to present.
Vernon Kay previously presented All Star Family Fortunes for 11 series from 2006 to 2015.
Family Fortunes will air on ITV in 2021.
