A contestant on tonight’s Family Fortunes gave the most bizarre answer to a question about dogs.
It even left host Gino D’Acampo stumped.
During Sunday night’s instalment, we saw the Russell family go up against the Davies family.
However, in one particular round, things took an unexpected turn when Nadine and Julie went head-to-head.
Gino asked them: ‘We asked 100 people, name something a dog would get away with, but a person wouldn’t.’
Nadine was quick to buzz in as she replied: ‘Licking themselves.’
Despite Gino looking a tad confused, ‘licking themselves’ ranked number two on the board.
He then went on to ask Julie to give him an answer, to which she laughed: ‘Nicking someone’s purse or taking someone’s purse.’
This baffled Gino even more as he questioned her answer.
‘Stealing a purse,’ he repeated.
‘Yeh, a dog could put a purse in their mouth,’ Julie added.
Gino still couldn’t get over the bizarre answer as he repeated again: ‘Stealing a purse, stealing a purse.’
However, unluckily for Julie, the answer wasn’t on the board.
At least viewers saw the funny side as one joked: ‘My dog does that on a daily basis, nicking my purse.’
Another tweeted: ‘A dog can steal a purse? Maybe they do where she lives.’
While one added: ‘When does a dog steal a purse hahahaha, can’t stop laughing.’
Family Fortunes airs on Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
