Dick Strawbridge, star of Channel 4’s Escape To The Chateau, has broken his social media seclusion following his firing.
Following a probe into Dick and his wife Angel Strawbridge’s behaviour, the It’s A Sin broadcaster decided it would no longer deal with them.
Two Rivers Media, the production firm for the property show, also claimed that it has ended its working connection with the pair.
Three of Dick and Angel’s former colleagues claimed to Deadline that they clashed with producers, while a further source alleged they were a ‘nightmare to work with.’
‘[They are] just spiky and volatile people,’ the insider added to Mail Online.
In 2021, sources from Escape To The Chateau’s former production company, Spark Media, claimed to The Times Dick and Angel were ‘abusive and bullying’ and had made filming an ‘an anxiety-inducing ordeal.’

At the time, the pair rejected the charges of harsh and bullying behaviours to the journal.
Dick and Angel have yet to respond to new allegations about their behaviour, however Dick returned to social media on Thursday.
He shared an Instagram Story from his kitchen, carrying a copy of his son James’ cookery book Salt.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the couple shared a video of their two children on Instagram, along with a promotion code for their business.
Escape To The Chateau debuted in 2016 and ended after nine seasons, with the last episode airing in December.
Back in October, the pair stated that their choice to leave the show was their own.
‘You know what, we wanted to go out on a high,’ Angel said, as Dick added to The Guardian: ‘Rather than someone asking us to stop!’
They continued at the time: ‘There’s still so much to do in the house, we could probably go on for a few more years, but every year we’ve said to each other, does it feel right to do another series?
‘Because it’s not a format as such, it’s our family life. With Arthur being 10 in January and Dorothy being nine next year, it was a natural time to stop.’
In a statement, a spokesperson for Channel 4 confirmed: ‘Following a review, we have taken the decision not to work with Dick and Angel on any new productions in the future.’
Two Rivers Media also added: ‘We can confirm that we will no longer work with Dick and Angel and cannot comment further at the moment.’
Escape to the Chateau is available to watch on Channel 4.
