Emma Willis has backed her’best buddy and partner in crime’ Matt Willis ahead of the National Television Awards.
The Busted musician, 40, is up for the written documentary award, along with Lewis Capaldi, Rob Burrow, and the late Dame Deborah James.
Emma, a 47-year-old TV presenter, said she was keeping her ‘fingers crossed’ for her husband, who is hoping to win for his story on his problems with addiction.
On Instagram, she shared a picture of herself and Matt beaming and looking blissful, wearing matching sunglasses, describing it as ‘the look of love and pride.’
She continued: ‘I’m a lucky lucky lady to walk through life with this man. My best friend, partner in crime and pain in the ass 😉 I wouldn’t have it any other way….
‘It’s a big night for @mattjwillis tomorrow as it’s @officialntas time. Good luck babe, I’ve got my fingers, toes and eye balls crossed for you.

Fighting Addiction delves into the Crashed the Wedding singer’s decades-long struggle with substance usage, which saw him use 6 grammes of coke alone per day at one time.
Emma said that throughout the height of Matt’s drug and alcohol abuse, she kept a notebook listing exactly what he had taken, which she still retains in a drawer in their bedroom.
Matt previously said that convincing Emma to participate in the documentary ‘took some talking to.’
‘We’ve been fairly secretive with our lives and haven’t really opened out previously,’ he said. That struck me as a really potent component. She walked me through everything.’
Matt and Emma met during an MTV interview in 2004 and married on July 5, 2008, in front of family and friends.
They have three children: Isabelle, 14, Ace, 11, and Trixie, 7.
