Emily in Paris dropped on Netflix today as fans get ready to jet off to Paris for season 2 – but who are the new cast members?
Minor spoilers for Emily in Paris season 2 to follow.
Lily Collins is back as American expat in Emily in Paris providing viewers with the ultimate dose of Parisienne escapism really needed right now.
But of course, things don’t always go quite to plan as she struggles to win her boss Sylvie’s approval at marketing firm Savoir, and is now caught in a very complex love triangle.
Luckily, there’s plenty of laughs in store too, plus some fab new cast members to fall in love with – here’s everyone who’s new for season two.
Lucien Laviscount plays Alfie
Alfie acts as Emily’s new love interest, who gradually works his charm on her after they meet in their French class.
The character is your typical British ‘lad’ who loves pints, football and can’t stop calling everyone ‘mate’ – but Emily soon makes her attraction clear.
Lucien will be recognisable to most British viewers, after roles such as pupil Jonah Kirby, in Waterloo Road and later making it to the final week of Celebrity Big Brother 2011.
He also appeared as Earl Grey in Ryan Murphy’s series Scream Queens and as Alexander Cabot in Katy Keene alongside Lucy Hale.
Kevin Dias plays Benoit
Benoit is one of Mindy’s (Ashley Park) new bandmates, who manages to get her out of her very unsatisfying job as ‘madame pipi’ in a French cabaret club.
Despite being of interest to Emily’s colleague Julien, Benoit admits he’s very interested in someone else, which causes sparks to fly unexpectedly.
Kevin has a small list of acting credits to his name in France, including starring as Bretodeau enfant in Amelie all the way back in 2001 and has played a recurring role of Sam in French sitcom Alex.
Arnaud Binard plays Laurent
Sylvie has a husband? Colour us shocked, but we loved this twist.
Laurent is living the life down in St Tropez and is only exposed as Sylvie’s other half after bumping into Emily at his beach club.
Arnaud is a producer as well as an actor, and has appeared in many French TV shows.
Last year he made his way international as he starred in an episode of Modern Family, as character Guy.
Søren Bregendal plays Erik
Erik first appears as a photographer for one of Savoir’s events, but soon catches the eye of stern Sylvie.
The pair hit it off and end up starting a very fun flirtation, which has to be one of our highlights of the season.
Søren starred in TV series 2900 Happiness as Simon Henriksen, in which he had a main role.
He’s also been a part of Denmark’s Eurovision journey, having represented the nation in 2016 as part of the band Lighthouse X; the group was voted out during the qualifying rounds, and therefore did not reach the final.
Daria Panchenko plays Petra
Petra is another new arrival in Emily’s French class, who she ends up sitting next to during her first lesson.
However, she soon realises Petra is not as innocent as she seems after some things definitely get lost in translation.
Daria is known for her roles in Équilibre, Mille feuilles and Les Pépés Bricoloss before starring in Emily in Paris.
Jeremy O. Harris plays Gregory Elliot Dupree
Gregory is brought in to spice things up for Savoir, as a nemesis of designer Pierre Cadault (Jean-Christophe Bouvet), which makes for some very fun scenes.
Standing tall at 6’5”, Jeremy is an American playwright, actor, and philanthropist, with the bulk of his work relating to the stage so far.
He’s had huge success with his plays Daddy and Slave Play, with the latter receiving 12 nominations at the 74th Tony Awards.
Jeremy is on board as a co-producer for season two of Euphoria – starring Zendaya – after consulting on the first season.
Jin Xuan Mao plays Etienne
Etienne completes the trio of Mindy and Benoit’s band, and acts as their trusty keyboard player.
According to his Instagram page, he’s done a fair bit of stage work already.
This appears to be the actor’s first TV credit, so we’re sure we’ll be seeing him again very soon.
Emily in Paris season 2 can be streamed in full on Netflix now.
