It has been claimed that Haris Namani visited the Love Island 2023 villa and found himself in the heart of a love “situationship.”
The 21-year-old TV salesperson and boxer was eliminated from the programme earlier this week, along with Anna-May Robey, who is only 20 years old.
His dismissal followed the internet publication of a video showing him hitting another guy during a street brawl, a topic he addressed after his elimination, calling himself “devastated” that the footage had been seen.
Haris, Anna-May, and ex-bombshell David Salako, 24 were the first three islanders to be eliminated from this season’s Winter Love Island.
Following their exits, the three reportedly participated in an Instagram Live together, where they responded to queries from ITV show viewers.
Thereafter, Haris allegedly revealed that he was in a “situationship” at the start of the series, explaining that he wasn’t officially dating at the time but was seeing someone.
According to The Sun, David urged Haris to stop talking, before they moved onto a new topic.
Fans of Haris were left scratching their heads when he claimed on Love Island that he had never been in a relationship, only for footage of him and his rumoured ex-girlfriend Courtney Hodgson to surface on TikTok.
He hit it up with 27-year-old ring girl Olivia Hawkins in the villa because they had a same interest in boxing.
Haris was taken home soon after they were paired off, leaving Olivia disappointed about her prospects in the villa.
Despite the continuous competition with Zara Lackenby-Brown, 25, she hasn’t stopped investigating her feelings for Tom Clare, 23.
After catching the eye of new bombshell and vibrator salesman Spencer Wilks, 24, she seems to have moved on.
As Haris was leaving the villa, he spoke out about the viral video showing him in a street brawl, saying, ‘I’m devastated that this video has been seen, it’s not a reflection of my character.’
He continued: ‘I’m not someone that goes looking for fights and I didn’t want to be in that situation. This was a heat of the moment thing.’
He added that he had since cleared the air with the other man, stressing that ‘the video doesn’t show everything that happened’.
‘Afterwards we met up and we cleared the air. We’ve shaken hands and we get along now,’ he added. ‘It’s not something that would happen again.’
Love Island returns on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
