Dr Hilary is remaining cautious about going for dinner indoors as lockdown restrictions continue to ease in England.
As of May 17, hospitality venues such as pubs and restaurants are allowed to begin welcoming guests indoors.
On Tuesday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, Susanna told co-host Adil Ray that she wasted no time in heading out in London.
When asked he would be joining the masses in heading for a cheeky drink inside he revealed the conditions that would make him feel comfortable doing so.
However the doctor added that he would bide his time before mixing with lots of people in a confined space.
He replied: ‘I would if there was a lot of space inside. I wouldn’t be rushing to do it and I wouldn’t be doing it too often.’

Dr Hilary has usually advised to stay on the safe side as restrictions continue to lift as part of the government’s roadmap out of lockdown.
On Monday’s episode he issued a warning about hugging close family as it was reintroduced, saying people should wear a mask during it and not speak.
He said on the programme: ‘Everyone is desperate to hug, I think it’s important to be selective, not to hug all and sundry but to hug people most close to you, that you have been really keen to hug.
‘It’s important to ask them, have they got any symptoms? Have they been exposed to anyone else in recent time? Have they been vaccinated?’
Susanna joked that people had to ‘do a health questionnaire’ before hugging, prompting Dr Hilary to explain that ‘lots of people still don’t want hugs’.
‘Ask them if they want to hug, get consent first, and then by all means hug,’ he went on, ‘But I would still wear a mask, I would turn your head away and not talk to them whilst you’re hugging them, because it’s aerosol contact.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
