This autumn, Married at First Sight UK will return to our screens, bringing us a much-needed daily dose of drama, dinner parties, and hopefully not too many divorces.
The popular reality series follows a couple who meets for the first time on their wedding day, with relationship professionals guiding them through the process.
This year’s iteration will include the first trans competitor and will last for 36 episodes, making it the longest series in the show’s history.
But how well did the experiment work? Let’s see which MAFS couples are still together.
Jenna and Zoe
Jenna and Zoe made MAFS history in the 2022 season by becoming the show’s first lesbian pair.
The pair had their ups and downs on the programme, with Zoe struggling to accept Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, but they managed to work through their differences and were the only couple to survive last year’s series.
A year after the experiment, the pair seemed to be more in love than ever, with frequent Instagram postings of vacations, date nights, and nice evenings in.

In April, Jenna celebrated the couple’s one year anniversary, with a Instagram post captioned: ‘I maaaybe a little late to the party but for our 1 year anniversary I wanted to put a little reel together of the day that changed everything.. Not just for me, @zoeclifton and our family and friends to look back on but also for you guys to have a little insight into the reality of what our day actually looked like ❤️
‘It was honestly just smiles all round.. an amazing start to our journey, we definitely had our challenges during the experiment (a turbulent rollercoaster I’m not sure many could withhold) but I’m so glad it didn’t take us long to work through our differences and find our way back to the smiles we had on the day we met.’

Tayah and Adam
Tayah and Adam have been inseparable since they met on the 2021 season of MAFS, and their love appears to be growing stronger by the day.
After only one week in the experiment, the pair proclaimed their love for one other, and Adam, who had never been in a relationship before, referred to her as his “first and last love.”
Although the couple wedded at first sight, the weddings on the programme aren’t legally binding, so Adam went down on one knee and proposed to Tayah in the show’s final vow renewal.
The couple’s wedding preparations, however, were put on hold after Tayah gave birth to a child in October 2022.
Announcing the happy news in an Instagram post, Tayah said: ‘7th October, the day our lives completely changed.
‘Introducing you all to our precious girl, Beau Emily Aveling, we are completely besotted, she is perfect in every single way.’

Owen and Michelle
Owen and Michelle met on MAFS’s 2020 season and are still together three years later.
The pair has a shared Instagram account where they frequently post updates on their activities, which range from vacations to theatrical visits.
Owen and Michelle revealed in May of this year that they are expecting their first child together.
Posting a snap of an ultrasound on Instagram, the couple wrote: ‘So, we’ve got news… #mafsuk #mafsbaby #mafsukbaby #comingdecember2023.’
