Dick and Dom have apparently signed up for a major BBC series, five years after their last appearance on our screens.
According to reports, the In Da Bungalow legends have joined the line-up for Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.
The kids’ TV hosts would appear in the series alongside Gemma Collins and Melvin Odoom.
‘They’ve signed up for Celebrity Antiques Road Trip – they’ve already begun filming and it’s fantastic,’ an insider claimed.
They continued to The Sun: ‘They’re a great signing although they really don’t know much about antiques.’
Dick, 46, real name Richard McCourt, and Dom, 45, real name Dominic Wood, rose to stardom in the early 2000s with their Bafta-winning sitcom In Da Bungalow, which aired for five seasons from 2002 to 2006.
After the show ended, the team went on to star in their own films and television shows, with their most recent appearance on Diddy TV in 2018.
Dick and Dom also DJ at major festivals and have recently brought Creamy Muck Muck to audiences across the UK as part of their Bungalow tour.
Aside from entertainment, the lifelong friends have also dedicated their voices to another cause – politics.
Never ones to hold back on children’s television, the pair have remained true to themselves, regularly resorting to Twitter to criticise the government.
Most recently, ahead of Conservative Prime Minister Liz Truss’ departure, the duo labelled the government ‘twisted’ as Westminster slid into disarray.
Following many cabinet sackings before Rishi Sunak was chosen Tory Party leader, they also called for a “general election now.”
Meanwhile, on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip, celebrities compete to find the most intriguing antiques and earn the most money at auction.
It premiered on the BBC in 2011 and has starred Jo Brand, Richard Osman, and James ‘Arg’ Argent.
Celebrity Antiques Road Trip will air on BBC Two later this year.
