RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season two is shaping up to be incredible with the addition of three fabulous new judges.
After the next crop of contestants were Ru-vealed BBC Three delivered an early Christmas present for fans.
On Sunday it was announced that actress and comedian Dawn French, who recently appeared in a new series of Vicar of Dibley, would make a special appearance as a guest judge when the show returns in early 2021.
Presenter Maya Jama and singer Jessie Ware have also been added to the panel.
Jessie shared the news on her own Twitter timeline and added: ‘Ring a ding ding!!!! Can’t wait @dragraceukbbc xxx’.
An equally excited Maya posted: ‘The way I love this show. Can. Not. Wait!!!!’
Dawn, Maya and Jessie join previously announced guest judges Liz Hurley, Sheridan Smith and Jourdan Dunn.
Lorraine Kelly, who appeared in Snatch Game in series one, will be back as a judge for the main stage.
Singer and song writer MNEK gave his input for the queens’ vocal stylings last time but will also be back as a proper guest judge for series two.
Special guests on series one included Cheryl, Twiggy and Andrew Garfield, who joined guest judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton.
The foursome will be back for the new episodes with Alan and Graham expected to rotate places each week.
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK returns January 14 at 7pm on BBC Three, which is available on BBC iPlayer.
