The first season of My Mum, Your Dad concludes later this week, but Davina McCall is already planning what comes next.
The visionary has been planning a celebrity spin-off in which prominent single parents try to find love at the retreat.
Davina, 55, is not just enthusiastic about the concept, but she is also thinking about who might make a good contender.
‘I’m already thinking about who I want to put in it,’ she told Good Morning Britain.
Despite her enthusiasm for the possible project, she is having some difficulties with casting.
‘Although, none of them stay single for long enough. Any celebrities that want to come on, bring it on.’
Richard Arnold, 53, revealed more about the pre-recorded discussion at a red-carpet event for The Sun’s Who Cares Wins Awards back at the studio.
‘The first name that came up when we were talking about a celebrity version of My Mum, Your Dad was not my good self, but Denise Van Outen funnily enough.’
Unfortunately, we won’t be able to witness Denise negotiate the single-parent dating scene because she’s content with her property developer partner Jimmy Barba.
‘She’s coupled up,’ host Susanna Reid interjected.
Richard added: ‘Denise is very much loved up.’
‘The singles who are on the shelf never really stay out on the shelf for much longer,’ pointed out Richard.
‘They are dusted off, and they are back out there on the market.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV. My Mum, Your Dad next airs tonight 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
