Dancing On Ice viewers have rushed to support Lou Sanders, accusing the judges of ‘knocking her confidence’.

Fans of the ITV skating programme believe the judges – Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean – ‘have it in for’ Lou since she continually earns poor points despite making no big mistakes.

This week, each star was challenged with executing a different dance technique, including ballet and belly dancing on the ice.

Lou danced a waltz to Eva Cassidy’s What A Wonderful World with partner Brendyn Hatfield.

She received a 24.5, with Chris describing her ‘beautiful slow lyrical passionate waltz’ as her ‘best skate thus far’.

Oti said she was ‘on the right path’, while Jayne urged her: ‘Moving forward, point the toe on the free leg.’

Viewers were dissatisfied with Lou’s assessment, noting that she had gotten bad remarks for three weeks in a row, being reprimanded for things that other skaters had not.

Branding the panel ‘evil’, X user BRATTYBARBl wrote: ‘These judges have it in for Lou… when she does solo skating they give her crap marks and have knocked all her confidence… evil’.

User fansvfavourites blasted: ‘making lou sanders dance a waltz, a dance notorious for being in hold, on a show that regularly penalises women for not skating by themselves was a choice. they want her gone and it’s so obvious. she’ll be getting all my votes’.

‘Why the f**k are the judges constantly low marking Lou?!’, questioned TheMeganHayward.

‘Do the judges hate Lou Sanders or something? What the heck’, asked JMRGBY88.

‘Lou Sanders undermarked for the 3 week running . Shame on the judges!’, raged charters65.

Unfortunately for Lou and Brendyn, their low marks also led to them being in the skate-off.

In a tight bottom two, she faced Claire Sweeney and her professional partner Colin Grafton.

Claire and Colin skated to Take That’s Relight My Fire, while Lou and Brendyn did Pink’s Try.

Claire became the third celebrity evicted from the series, following Hannah Spearritt and Ricky Hatton in previous weeks.

Claire complimented her physiotherapist after the skate-off, noting that she had suffered an injury earlier in the week that prompted her to change her regimen.

The 52-year-old actress also stated that she was OK with simply ‘getting through’ the days following a rib strain during rehearsals.

Prior to taking to the ice with Hey Big Spender – in which she also sang live – Claire said that ‘nothing is stopping me’.

She ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard as she scored 23.5, and told presenters Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern: ‘I was trying to be sexy with a dodgy rib, but the show must go on, get on with it.’

Next week, the remaining couples, including Ryan Thomas, Amber Davies, Adele Roberts, and Eddie the Eagle, will perform routines from the biggest theatre musicals for Musicals Week.

Dancing On Ice continues Sunday at 6:19pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
