There’s not long to go until the start of Dancing On Ice 2022, as the new cast and the judges kick off this year’s series.
With contestants including Happy Mondays dancer and musician Bez, former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Brendan Cole and Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt, fans have been poring over every bit of news to try and figure out who the frontrunners will be.
While it seems like they’re enjoying their training, the ice can be brutal, with a recent clip of Bez in rehearsals showing him smashing his head on the ground as his helmet went flying.
This year will mark the first for Strictly pro Oti Mabuse, who has replaced John Barrowman as a judge alongside Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
In week one, six couples will perform for the first time, which will include Bez and Angela Egan, Brendan and Vanessa Bauer, Sally Dynevor and Matt Evers, Ria Hebden and Łukasz Różycki, Kye Whyte and Tippy Packard, and Kimberly and Mark Hanretty.
The remaining six pairs will deliver their dances in week two, which will consist of Connor Ball and Alexandra Schauman, Ben Foden and Robin Johnstone, Liberty Poole and Joe Johnson, Regan Gascoigne and Karina Manta, Stef Reid and Andy Buchanan, and Rachel Stevens and Brendyn Hatfield.
So what time does Dancing On Ice start and when will the first elimination take place?
