After being forced to drop out of the next Dancing on Ice live show, Happy Mondays champ Bez has found a characteristically novel way to practise in the meantime.
The musician, 57 – real name Mark Berry – tested positive for coronavirus and is subsequently isolating at home, but should be back on the rink in time for his next scheduled performance on January 30.
However, being unable to skate hasn’t stopped him from rehearsing at home.
‘I’m isolating in my cottage right, so I’ve got these fluffy socks on and I’m sliding about on the lino in the bathroom and I’ve got this big full length mirror I’m looking in, so I’m still practising my balance and not falling over,’ he told The Sun.
‘I’m just desperate to get back out there, you know what I mean?’
While the star tested positive for the virus, he assured that he hasn’t had any symptoms so far.
