Dan Walker posted a video illustrating how difficult it was to get to the Channel 5 News studios by automobile during the storm.
On Saturday, the Met Office issued another red weather warning for Scotland, with heavy rain creating floods and disruption in areas of the nation.
A red ‘danger to life’ weather warning for rain has already been issued in Scotland, with amber alerts in other regions of Scotland, northern England, Wales, and the Midlands until tomorrow morning.
Many sections of England are also affected by amber warnings, which run from Newcastle to Nottingham and the Midlands.
There are presently 38 flood warnings in effect, indicating that flooding is predicted, and an additional 133 flood alerts, indicating that flooding is probable.
And, as Strictly Come Dancing star Dan confessed, it has made certain vehicle rides nearly impossible.
The 46-year-old posted a video of his automobile attempting to wade over floodwaters on a busy road in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
Cars could be seen slowly going through, however several were partially immersed in water.
The former BBC Breakfast presenter wrote: ‘ Trains cancelled, trying to get to the @5_News studio by car but I’ve already seen 3 vehicles half-submerged in water and this is the main road through Chesterfield.’

Dan moved from BBC to 5 News in May of last year, waving farewell to the BBC’s early morning news broadcast, which he had joined in 2016.
It was an emotional final day for the 45-year-old, who was reunited with his former co-star Louise Minchin in the studio before exiting with a large inflatable lobster.
Not long after, he stated that he had visited the Channel 5 studio to familiarise himself with his new surroundings… and he appeared to enjoy what he saw.
Sharing a black and white selfie on Twitter, he wrote: ‘I had a little look around my new TV home today. They all seem lovely at @5_News.’
Dan addressed concerns about the environmental effect of a TV piece earlier this year after reporting on climate change for Channel 5 while in Benidorm, Spain.
The production prompted one of the broadcaster’s followers to comment: ‘Great report Dan, did you add to global warming by flying there with a crew? #responsibility.’
Sharing a picture of a carbon offset certificate issued to ITN, Dan responded: ‘Actually… we paid to offset all the carbon from our flight so there will be a few trees planted after that. Thanks for asking [heart emoji].’
Another viewer, however, continued to criticise Dan for travelling via plane for the segment, writing: ‘Sorry Dan but that is a poor response “as we have bought and planted some trees to offset our carbon footprint, it OK to fly’” that is making travel elitists. Just what Klaus Schwab and Bill Gates want.’
‘Hi Steve, Can I ask what you would have us do because I’m pretty sure people would moan whatever we did? Have a good one,’ Dan replied.
It comes after the seas achieved their highest temperature ever recorded, an indication of the accelerated consequences of climate change, reaching 20.96 degrees Celsius compared to the average of 16 degrees Celsius.
Several studies have also warned that the Atlantic Ocean circulation, which transports warmth from the tropics to Europe, may fail far sooner than previously anticipated, with disastrous consequences.
