Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola won the Glitterball trophy in an emotional Strictly Come Dancing final.
They triumphed against dance duos Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, as well as Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell, but the choice hasn’t gone down well with some fans.
Fans turned to Twitter (X) to express their displeasure with resident grumpy judge Craig Revel Horwood, 58,’s score.
Craig, being the icon that he is, was not going to allow dissatisfied viewers bring him down as he responded with sarcastic retorts.
‘Isn’t it wonderful you had the power then PeterPumpkin?’ he replied to one troll angered by the judge giving Layton a 10 while Ellie landed a nine.
Of course, Ellie went on to win the crown based on fan votes, thus Craig’s score had no bearing on the outcome.
In the replies a woman named Pamela added: ‘Biased on every level Ellie learned from scratch Layton was already dance trained.’
To which the Craig hilariously responded: ‘Not true Pamela get your facts straight darling.’
One viewer, Charlotte Rose, blasted the judge as a ‘f**kin din’ to which the judge clapped back: ‘Calm your language down Charlotte Rose. With a name like that I’d expect more!’
Another troll, Peter, claimed that Bobby’s dance deserved a 10, prompting a quick ‘No’ from Craig.
Craig had a rare emotional outburst following Ellie Leach’s show dance, reflecting on the season and how far Strictly has gone since it first aired in 2004.

Pointing to their glittering trophy, Ellie told him proudly: ‘This, this is for you!’
‘This is for you, you have been amazing,’ Vito added.
