Chris Eubank was left sobbing over the loss of life of his son Sebastian throughout Scared of the Dark.
The third oldest of Eubank’s 5 kids died in 2021 from an undiagnosed coronary heart condition whereas swimming only one week before his 30th birthday and 32 days after his own son was born.
Eubank spent eight days shacked up with the likes of Paul Gascoigne, The Wanted’s Max George and Love Island star Chloe Burrows completely in the dark with feelings instantly running high for the brand new Channel 4 show introduced by Danny Dyer.
Throughout Monday night’s episode, Eubank is asked by comic Chris McCausland if his son’s death was recent.
‘It’s always going to be recent,’ stated the boxing legend.

Eubank went on to call his son ‘everything’ and an ‘inspiration’.
‘He was me. Poet, philosopher, lover, protector, a man of love. He was me,’ he informed Chris.
‘Things he did, he was magnificent. My son was, is, an inspiration and will always be an inspiration.’
Later within the episode, Eubank spoke to producers in The Vault.
‘Your son…. they never leave you, ever,’ he stated. ‘They are always with you. Always.
‘My son Sebastian is much more than I could ever explain to you.
‘The tragedy of losing a son who’s 29, think about crying that hard, and then months later being grateful that you cried that tough for your son. It wasn’t one tear, it was an ocean.’
A the time of Sebastian’s loss of life, Eubank stated: ‘Never did I ever on son imagine I would write these words or experience the feeling I now have on the lack of my son.
‘My family and I are devastated to hear of the death of Sebastian just days before his thirtieth birthday.
‘Sebastian grew up in Hove in England but in the last few years made his life in Dubai the place he had a wide circle of friends and was a leader within the adoption of a healthy lifestyle and of alternative therapies.
‘As well as being a personal coach and boxer, Sebastian was also a deep thinker who liked to challenge accepted wisdom.
‘He was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be forever in the thoughts of friends and family.’
Scared of the Dark continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.
