Vanessa Feltz has stated that she does not wish to speak with her ex-fiancé Ben Ofoedu following their breakup.

The 61-year-old TV host split up with his 17-year partner earlier this year after it was revealed he had cheated on her many times.

Vanessa has since spoken about her sadness, most recently revealing that she “hasn’t eaten in months” because she is “heartbroken.”

She has, however, been looking to get back into the dating scene and is currently starring in the latest season of Celebs Go Dating alongside former Love Island stars Adam Collard and Chloe Burrows, Mark-Francis Vandelli from Made in Chelsea, model Lottie Moss, and comedian and internet personality Spuddz.

In the third episode, Vanessa revealed to the matchmaking agents that she “needed as much help as I could get” when it came to dating again.

‘I’ve made so many abysmal choices in the past,’ she added.

When asked about her past, Vanessa was open about how being in the relationship had caused her to doubt Ben’s sentiments and intentions.

‘I was happy to love him because he was happy to be there,’ she said.

‘All the kindness and enthusiasm and light to be there seemed to evaporate.

‘He did trickle down occasional filaments of love every so often to make me think he loved me.’

Vanessa struggled to explain the termination of her relationship when pushed to elucidate.

‘In truth I cant really tell you because I don’t really know,’ she shared.

‘There have been so many lies that I have no way of knowing what is the truth…I was told things that didn’t add up and I didn’t want to exist in an environment like that in my own home so that was the end of it.

‘I haven’t seen or spoken to him since then and don’t want to.’

Vanessa claimed to feeling ‘terribly embarrassed’ and ‘very sad and startled’ when she announced her breakup in February.

Celebs Go Dating is streaming on Channel 4.
