Celebrity Big Brother producers are reportedly looking for a member of the Royal Family for the forthcoming 2024 season…

Big Brother returned to our screens this year with a slew of new housemates offering six weeks of memorable entertainment, with 26-year-old ex-lawyer Jordan Sangha declared the winner and walking away with £100,000 in prize money.

As Big Brother continues to make waves on ITV, a new edition of the much-loved celebrity season will return early next year, prompting curiosity over who has signed up.

According to sources, the casting team is eager to spend big bucks on Sarah Ferguson.

Yes, executives are apparently ‘pulling out all the stops’ to queue up the 64-year-old Duchess of York and deliver her a £500,000 paycheque after Nigel Farage got a stunning £1.5 million for his I’m A Celebrity trip.

As per The Mirror, a TV insider said: ‘Sarah would be a brilliant signing for Celebrity Big Brother.

‘She is very smart, engaging and funny. Not to mention the millions of viewers she would pull in if she began talking to housemates about the Royal Family and Prince Andrew.

‘Sarah has never considered reality formats in the past but ITV bosses are hoping their offer might change that position.’

They added that ‘signing her would be a massive coup’ and ‘that’s why they are digging deep for the offer they plan to make her.’

The Duchess piqued the show’s interest after she co-hosted and guest-edited a recent edition of This Morning.

‘Sarah has a great relationship with ITV and her stint on This Morning last month was a real success,’ the source added.

‘It was an unexpected move for her but it worked brilliantly.’

Given Mike Tindall’s success in the jungle in 2022, she ‘wouldn’t be the first person with royal ties to undertake reality TV,’ according to the insider.

While we wait to see if Fergie wants to live in TV’s most famous mansion, we do know she enjoys watching television.

Before co-hosting This Morning, she stated that she was a “huge fan of the show,” but subsequently admitted that her time in front of the camera was “terrifying.”

Along with the Duchess, there are rumoured to be a slew of major personalities signed up for CBB 2024.

The casting crew is claimed to be working around the clock to find the stars that will get people talking, from Phillip Schofield to Katie Price.

Given the popularity of the ITV civilian series, it’s no surprise that ITV is ready to spend huge money on Celebrity huge Brother, which will apparently premiere next March.

Big Brother’s return resulted in the show’s highest viewing statistics in more than a decade, with millions tuning in to catch up on the house antics, which ranged from explosive arguments to love triangles to shocking evictions.

‘Celebrity Big Brother will see a fresh group of renowned personalities isolated from the outside world as they embark on the ultimate social experiment, taking up residence in the legendary Big Brother house,’ ITV previously stated.

‘Leaving luxury behind, the celebrities will take part in weekly nominations and tough tasks with cameras capturing their every move.
