Tiger King star Carole Baskin has offered a $5,000 reward to help find her missing Bengal tiger India which is currently roaming the streets of Houston.

The large sum of money will be given ‘to the person responsible for the immediate, safe hand over of India the Tiger to a sanctuary that is accredited by the Global Federation of Sanctuaries.’

Efforts to locate the tiger has now entered its fifth day after its alleged owner Victor Cuevas reportedly forced the animal into the back of his white Jeep Cherokee.

Victor, 26, was caught, arrested and later released on bond on Wednesday. However, the nine-month-old tiger was nowhere to be found.

Footage shared on social media shows the animal taking to the streets of Houston.

As more time passes, Carol, 59, is said to be growing more concerned about the creature’s whereabouts.

She told TMZ that her worries stem from the ‘owners of the tiger showing a serious lack of responsibility so far’.

The Big Cat Rescue sanctuary owner also told the publication that whoever turned the animal over would have to work with law enforcement to receive the cash reward.

She confirmed that the tiger would receive lifetime care at another accredited sanctuary upon its return.

Meanwhile, an attorney for Cuevas, a suspect for a murder in 2017, has insisted that his client isn’t the cat’s owner and does not know where it is.

‘We’re going to do everything we can do to try to find this cat and get this cat to a nice, safe place where it can enjoy a nice comfortable life.

‘That’s really what we want to do,’ attorney Michael W. Elliott said at a news conference.

A full-scale hunt for the tiger is underway, with Houston Police Department telling DailyMail.com on Wednesday ‘there had been no further leads on the big cat’s whereabouts.’

It was added that they would offer updates on Twitter if they had any new information about the tiger.
