Britney Spears was ‘shaking under table’ on Loose Women

During a 2016 interview, Britney Spears was said to be ‘shaking beneath the table’ by the Loose Women panel.

The 41-year-old joined Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford, and Janet Street-Porter on the programme, who were reminiscing on the conversation in commemoration of the release of the hitmaker’s memoir, The Woman in Me, today.

‘I remember how nervous she was, like shaking nervous,’ shared Coleen.

‘Shaking under the table,’ she later added.

‘I remember thinking her nails were all bitten, and there was half nail polish.’

Coleen, 58, also disclosed that she received instructions in her earpiece that she did not feel comfortable carrying out.

‘She was chewing gum, and they kept saying to me in my ear: “Make her spit the gum out” and I’m like: “I am not going to ask Britney Spears to spit her gum out”.’

Coleen went on to say that while Britney, who arrived with a large entourage, was a “bag of nerves,” she was also a “lovely” person.

The panel, which included Nadia Sawalha, was told to keep to a scripted line of questions, which included asking Britney about her ideal date.

‘I like younger guys,’ Britney disclosed.

She has admitted to liking’spur of the moment’ relationships.

Britney even got the panellists up on their feet and showed them some dancing skills throughout the broadcast. Despite the fact that it was a joyful and light-hearted conversation, Janet, 76, now views it in a different light after re-watching it: ‘Looking back on the interview now, she almost seems not to be present at all.’

Britney discusses her TV interviews and what she claims was left out.

‘I even mentioned the conservatorship on a talk show in 2016, but somehow that part of the interview didn’t make it to the air. Huh. How interesting,’ one part reads.

The Sun claims that the TV programme is The Jonathan Ross Show.

She also writes about her life as a conservator (‘I became a child-robot,’ she claims), her challenges with fame, and her chaotic love life, which includes her famous affair with Justin Timberlake.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
