The Britain’s Got Talent judges are going to be visiting contestants in person to ask them to audition for the ITV show in a special new segment, it’s been reported.

Next week, the talent competition is finally returning after last airing in 2020, with Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden on the judging panel and Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly back to present.

A trailer released this week featured a first look at this year’s hopefuls, including a lookalike of the media mogul, shocking moments that will leave the judges covering their faces in horror and spectacular musical performances… as per.

While Britain’s Got Talent has been known to pull on the heart strings on occasion, a new segment Judges Golden Moments is set to do so even more, as the judges go meet contestants away from the prying eyes of the audience to personally ask them to compete.

According to a source who spoke to The Mirror, ‘the new element will produce some heart-warming moments’ as ‘the judges are going to meet people but they don’t know they are coming’.

‘The idea is to highlight some brilliant people and tell their story in a different way. It really helps to make their auditions memorable and special,’ they said.
