A woman who is marrying a ghost insists he is the finest sex she’s ever had… despite the fact that he isn’t living.
Bride-to-be Brocarde is getting ready to marry the love of her life, a deceased Victorian soldier who may or may not show up at their wedding.
And it appears to be all down to her attire.
Brocarde recounts her unusual love tale on Say Yes To The Dress with Tan France.
Explaining how they first met, she says: ‘When I met Eduardo for the first time I was literally minding my own business.
‘It was a really stormy night, and I just felt this burning in my chest, and I was like woah, what is this really intense, warm feeling here?
‘It kind of like ran throughout my body and out through my toes.’
As confused as the rest of us, Queer Eye star Tan is forced to confirm: ‘Eduardo is a ghost?’
‘Eduardo’s dead,’ Brocarde admits.
Brocarde continues, revealing more about her ghostly love: ‘He is a Victorian soldier; he is so attractive, he’s a little bit of a rebel, I sort of feel like he was almost like a rockstar in a previous life, he thrills me.’
But that’s not all; according to Brocarde, Eduardo is ‘very sexual’.
She says: ‘Eduardo is an absolute dreamboat, he keeps me on my toes, which is what I need.
‘His presence is quite sexy and quite sexual, because if someone can control your body and take a hold of your body then it is… You don’t need me to spell it out…’
‘Orgasmic, the word she’s looking for is orgasmic,’ Tan fills in.
‘I didn’t realise what I was missing from my sex life, but apparently it’s ghost sex!’ he quips.
While it may appear that everything is romantic, Brocarde is facing a fight before her wedding, since Eduardo may not even show up.
She explains: ‘My groom… he likes for me to be covered up, I want to make sure he turns up.
‘He doesn’t approve of me dressing in that manner,’ she adds, implying that too much skin may send her invisible Victorian groom into a meltdown.
Brocarde tells up about her desire of marrying her perfect guy (ghost) as her wedding day approaches.
She says: ‘What I keep imagining and keep thinking about is that moment that I walk down the aisle, and the moment he turns around sees me walking down the aisle towards him, I think that’s probably the most magical moment of any wedding.’
Thankfully, her wedding gown wins his approval, as she arrives at the altar wearing a black lace wedding gown with a black veil.
She insists he’s said ‘I do’ and she puts on a ring before leaning in to kiss him.
‘I was so excited that he turned up,’ she adds.
