Alex Lovell, a BBC broadcaster, proved to be a true hero when she climbed onto a roof to save a fledgling bird just before coming on television.
In a video published on social media, the presenter was seen ascending a ladder to the top of the BBC Bristol studios, where she rescued the unfortunate critter.
Clearly aware of the potential danger, Alex quipped as she mounted the ladder, ‘Disclaimer, I won’t sue anybody.’
She then climbed up, over the gutter pipes, towards the building’s corner, where a bird could be heard screeching.
A bird could be seen flying about a split second after Alex vanished, which she quickly picked up and released.
As the bird took off, Alex raised her hands in response to the acclaim from the crew below.
