BBC News viewers watched another unpleasant moment when a studio went black live on-air.
Look North host Dave Edwards was reading a news update when the lights went out.
On Friday morning, Edwards was reading the morning news when the studio went dark.
‘Good morning from Look North, hope you’re well, here are our key stories this morning,’ he said.
‘Oh,’ he muttered as the lights went out. I believe I need to put a few coins in the metre.’
Pushing through, he opted to continue reading off the teleprompter.
At the same time, there appeared to be some audio issues, with it sounded like a microphone was striking something.
Later in the show, Edwards apologised to the audience.
‘Apologies again for the technical problems. We will try to get those sorted. More from us in half an hour’s time,’ he said.

When the lights went out on an April 19 broadcast, the show experienced a similar difficulty.
Clare Frisby had to apologise to viewers as she began the broadcast, saying that the lights were out owing to a “studio problem.”
‘I hope that you can still hear me and we will still be able to run our reports,’ she said.
This week’s technological problem at the BBC came only a day after another presenter got somewhat red-faced while reading the news.
Lukwesa Burak recognised she was still live on TV on Thursday, but not before she had a good stretch.
However, when she learned that the cameras were still filming, her face fell and she tried her best to hide the moment.
Seeing the hilarity, many people expressed their sympathy for being exhausted at work, with Burak subsequently replying on people’s social media postings and joked that she was ‘here to serve’.
