Ant and Dec have actually been nominated for a TV Bafta after mocking Boris Johnson’s party gate scandal during I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
The duo will be battling it out with Strictly Come Dancing winner Rose Ayling-Ellis and Adele for a coveted TV Bafta as they go head-to-head for the ‘must-see moment’ award.
The Prime Minister was under enormous scrutiny when it was revealed Downing Street had been hosting several boozy gatherings during the height of lockdowns.
During an episode of I’m A Celeb, Ant and Dec joked the show’s contestants ‘categorically deny’ any suggestion they had a party in the Welsh castle where the show takes place.
They added: ‘And this fictional party definitely didn’t involve cheese and wine, or a Secret Santa.’
Dec then looked directly into the camera and said: ‘Evening Prime Minister … for now.’
Rose stunned the nation when she and her partner Giovanni Pernice cut the music so viewers could experience her performance from her perspective as someone who is Deaf.
The routine was one of the stand-out moment from all series of Strictly, which she said was a ‘tribute’ to the Deaf community.
She eventually went on to win Strictly, becoming the first Deaf champion to do so and inspiring so many others to reach for the stars.
Comedian Rosie Jones, who has cerebral palsy, recently told Metro.co.uk she would love to follow Rose’s lead and take part in the next series of Strictly too.
And then Adele, who rarely doesn’t win an award she’s nominated for, once again had millions in tears – but not with her music.
During her ‘An Audience with Adele’, which saw the London Palladium packed with celebrity guests, including Emma Thompson who danced like there was no tomorrow, the Rolling in The Deep singer surprised on stage by her teacher Ms McDonald, from Chestnut Grove School in Balham, who taught her before she moved to the prestigious Brit School as a teenager.
Netflix has also received a nomination for the gruesome red light, green light game featured in episode one of hit South Korean series Squid Game.

Voting for the winner of the Virgin Media Must See Moment Award opens on March 23 at 7am and closes on April 19 at 5pm.
