Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly quickly ran out of luck when testing out their new game show Limitless Win, which begins on ITV tomorrow night.
Ant and Dec are gearing up for their first new show launch in a decade, with a pulse-raising quiz show.
The thrilling format offers contestants an endless money ladder, which they must climb by answering questions correctly.
But the pair revealed they didn’t fare so well when they tested out the format, losing £1.2million.
Joining Lorraine Kelly on Friday’s edition of her morning show, they expressed their excitement over Limitless Win and why they quickly ran out of luck when trying it themselves.
Dec said: ‘It’s 10 years since we launched a show. It’s been a while and we weren’t really looking for a show.
‘But last year we had no Britain’s Got Talent because of Covid.’
He added: ‘We did it as contestants, we played it and tried it.’
Ant weighed in: ‘We played it and got up to £1.2 million up the ladder, but we got a rush of blood to the head and kept answering too quickly and we lost.’
Luckily, the pair already promised some exciting moments to come with some of the contestants set to win big on the show.
Speaking ahead of the show’s debut, the pair promised high-stakes drama and the very real possibility of ‘world TV firsts’ which could come with a never-ending jackpot.
