I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are still convinced they’re in Australia in a new trailer for the 2020 series.
The presenters, who recently took on their first Bushtucker Trial, have filmed a running joke for this year’s promos as the show moves from Down Under to North Wales.
Still on the hunt for camp, which they believe is in the Australian jungle, they come across a cafe and demand some ‘authentic Aussie tucker’ from the waitress.
Referring to her as ‘Sheila’ in shoddy Aussie accents, Ant wants some shrimp – on the barbie, of course – but they end up with Welsh cakes.
They find out the cakes come from ‘Sidney’, a Welsh bloke who’s just trying to read the paper, but the duo hear ‘Sydney’ as in the Australian city.
I’m A Celebrity 2020 will house the camp mates at Gwrych Castle, North Wales, when the show returns later this year.
Despite Wales going back into lockdown until November 9 due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in the UK, it has since been confirmed that I’m A Celeb will continue as planned.
It was recently reported that the UK could be I’m A Celeb’s new home for the next two years in order to stay safe as the pandemic continues.
The 2020 line up is yet to be confirmed, but there are plenty of rumours around after celebrities were spotted arriving for what is believed to be a promotional shoot.
Pictures obtained by the Sun showed Coronation Street’s Beverley Callard and Russell Watson arriving at the top-secret meeting in blacked-out cars.
Other celebs supposedly taking part in the ITV hit include Vernon Kay, presenter Victoria Derbyshire, Paralympian Hollie Arnold, EastEnders’ Jessica Plummer and Strictly star AJ Pritchard.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! returns later this year.
