You might not have considered it possible, but Anna Richardson believes her new programme goes ‘further’ than Naked Attraction.

The new six-part series, co-hosted by Yinka Bokinni and former Love Island star Doctor Alex George, seeks to support the body acceptance movement through candid conversations and plenty of nudity.

‘Naked Education is sort of one step further than Naked Attraction, as it says: “Let’s normalise bodies, have the conversation about what we go through, and actually educate the nation,” said Anna, 52.

Anna has made a deliberate choice to search out programmes that are ‘controversial,’ ‘break taboos,’ or’make a difference.’

She explained: ‘With every single show that I’ve done you can tick one of those boxes.’

The Channel 4 programme will feature full-frontal nudity as well as topics such as body hair and gender transition procedures.

The Naked Brigade will also appear on the program, which is made up of body-positive people who will remove their clothes during the show in order to help others conquer their insecurities.

Anna remembered an especially memorable episode in which Finn, a transgender man, addressed having his penis surgically made and even displayed the results on video.

‘I’ve never seen that before in the flesh and I don’t think I’ve seen it on TV, so the fact that Finn was prepared to go naked, show his penis and show how it works – that was mind blowing!,’ said Anna to The Sun.

Dr Alex, 32, wrote on Instagram: ‘When I say this series is going to get people talking, I mean it. It will have you laughing one minute and in tears the next… We talk about everything from the ageing body to [penis] size, answering the questions people are afraid to ask.’

He added that his ‘mission is to improve people’s mental health and body image’ before joking: ‘Don’t worry my clothes do remain on.’

Naked Attraction debuted on television in 2016. Singletons choose prospective companions based on their naked bodies in the programme.

Naked Education starts on Tuesday 8pm Channel 4
