Got a spare £5,000,000 stuffed down the back of your sofa? Well, why not treat yourself to Amanda Holden’s mansion?
Of course, we’re joking, but the Britain’s Got Talent judge has listed her home for sale, which means it’s available to anyone with a large sum of money.
The stunning property in Surrey has been completely renovated, and we all know Amanda has a gift for interior design thanks to her TV series with buddy Alan Carr.
Her ‘forever’ house boasts five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a big 30ft by 27ft living area – picture movie nights in there!
Amanda, 52, purchased the house in 2015 for £3.5 million, which means she stands to profit £1.5 million if it sells for the asking amount.
Amanda’s chic home also has a modern yard with decking, a bar, a library, and a fully updated kitchen with a wide island and navy cabinets.
There’s also a hot tub, of course.
If affluent buyers are looking for a ready-to-move-in home, Amanda’s abode might not be the one unless they love colour, since her home is filled with bright artwork.
Amanda lives in the lovely home with her husband Chris, whom she married in 2008, and their children Lexi, 17, and Hollie, 11.
During the epidemic, the pair worked hard to give the property a new lease on life, with a source previously telling the Daily Mail: ‘Amanda loves her family home and is particularly happy of the work she’s done on it.
‘She’s had a real hand in the makeover and has enjoyed seeing her ideas come to life.
‘It will be a sad day when she moves out but Amanda can take comfort in the number of memories she’s created there.’
Amanda has enjoyed living in the house so much that she admits to ‘badgering’ its former owner for years to sell it to her.
She told House Beautiful that it was critical that their home not seem like a “show home.”
Amanda is back on our screens this weekend, along with Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and new judge Bruno Tonioli, for a new season of Britain’s Got Talent.
The variety programme, hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, has already provided some unusual kinds of entertainment, ranging from parkour daredevils to amazing kid magicians.
Britain’s Got Talent continues Saturday and Sunday on ITV1 and ITVX.
