Amanda Holden has mastered the work-life balance after spending time in Italy with her children and her rarely seen sister.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 52, has been recording the second season of her restoration programme, Italian Job, with comedian Alan Carr, 47, which was a huge smash earlier this year.

Of course, filming for Series 2 needed her to be in Italy, and her entire family joined her for the vacation.

Amanda has been shooting in Forte dei Marmi, and her holiday photos have made us all green with jealousy, the most recent of which shows her dining with her lookalike kids and sister Debbie.

As their trip came to a close, Amanda disclosed that she and her girls had stayed at the newly renovated La Serena Hotel.

Accompanied by 11-year-old Hollie and older sister Lexi, 17, the TV star celebrated her farewell night at the hotel’s restaurant, where she was wined and fed.

Amanda looked unusually glowy in a vivid strapless dress in an Instagram photo.

‘A big THANK YOU to the magnificent freshly restored @laserena_fortedeimarmi for hosting a fantastic few days for my girls and sister when @chattyman and I shot season 2 of #ItalianJob… they made us feel like family,’ she captioned.

Amanda recently dazzled her two million followers with a bikini image taken while taking a break from filming to top up her tan and enjoy an Aperol spritz.

The talent show judge sat on a sun lounger, showing off her extremely toned body in an orange two-piece with a crochet cover-up draped over her shoulders.

Meanwhile, Alan, the comedian, has been previewing Series 2 of Italian Job, in which the long-time pals renovate an ancient house they acquired for €1.

The comic stood against a wall on Instagram in a loudly patterned shirt and a similarly colourful pair of red shorts, joking that he appeared little in the image.

‘It looks like I’ve shrunk (sadly not my waistline😔 – more pasta please 🐷)’, he quipped, adding that the ‘roasting’ town was one of his ‘favourite places ever.’

Fans of Amanda and Alan’s series are eagerly awaiting the announcement of a series 2 launch date.

‘Can’t wait for your new series’, one person commented on an Insta pic of the hilarious duo larking around in a tuk-tuk.

‘When when when when when when when when WHEN ?’, another demanded to know.

‘Looking forward to the new series. Loved the first one, and I’m sure the second will be equally as good, if not better.. I think the pair of you made that series’, one fan praised.

Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job premiered in January on BBC.

The eight-episode series followed the stars as they worked on converting two derelict flats in rural Sicily into their ideal home.

After everything was said and done, Amanda and Alan’s house was formally put up for sale, with the money going to Comic Relief.

The lovely home was on the market for £127,825.

The show’s remarkable success ensured that Amand and Alan would be back for another season.

A source previously told The Sun: ‘It’s so hard for new TV shows to make an impact, but the ratings have been incredible and Amanda and Alan’s chemistry is undeniable.

‘To think the pair of them had the idea themselves during lockdown and are now planning series two is a dream come true for them both. There are still logistics, timings and details to sort but, all being well, they’ll be officially announcing the news soon.’

Amanda & Alan’s Italian Job is available to stream now on BBC iPlayer.
