Tammy Slaton has described her emotional reaction to her estranged husband’s death.
Caleb Willingham, 40, died over the weekend, it was announced.
His stepmother, Shirley Willingham, confirmed the news to TMZ, although his cause of death is unknown.
Tammy – star of 1000-Lb Sisters – paid tribute to her ex-partner on social media following the announcement, writing on Instagram: ‘Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness ❤️❤️’
She has recently uploaded a video to TikTok in which she can be seen grieving as she comes to grips with her loss.
Tammy, 36, stated that she is presently in various “stages of grieving,” and that even though she and Willingham have “issues,” she still “loves” him.
‘We were having problems, but I loved that man and I still do,’ she said tearfully.
‘I miss him like crazy, but I wanted to thank everybody for your comments. I appreciate it, I really do.
‘We’re not gonna get into details of what happened, it’s really personal.’
Tammy continued: ‘I’m aware that he is looking down on me. He’s not in any pain anymore.
‘I know he’s in a better place.’
The TLC star concluded: ‘Again, thank you all and I love you all from the bottom of my heart.
‘He really loved you all too.’
Tammy met Willingham last year when both were undergoing weight reduction treatment at a rehabilitation clinic in Ohio.
Willingham proposed to her in October, and they married a month later.
They divorced after only five months of marriage.
Tammy was released from the rehabilitation institute in February following her weight loss operation, which Willingham was not yet qualified for, and returned to Kentucky.
During this period, they are reported to have drifted apart, sparking reports of a split, which they confirmed in May.
Tammy is believed to have moved on with a younger man, TikToker Greg Morgan, 25, from Indiana.
