Taylor Swift is bringing everything to her upcoming and long-awaited Eras tour gigs, and she has already impressed fans with some swimming wizardry.
The Shake It Off singer, 33, began her tour in Arizona on Friday, with backing from Paramore and Gayle, only hours after launching four brand-new singles out of nowhere.
The chart-topping tune will be performed in dozens of towns throughout the United States as part of her tour, but no European or UK dates have yet been revealed, so we’ll have to live vicariously through our American friends.
We’ve already seen flashes of her magnificent outfits as she flew through her mammoth three-hour, 44-song concert, which covers years of her record-breaking music production.
But, audience members have posted video footage of the singer seemingly falling right into – and through – the stage, giving us a look of some incredible special effects throughout the concert.
The Anti-Hero performer was photographed acquiring a diving posture before crashing head-first through a crack in the stage floor that had opened up between songs.
Taylor, who was dressed in a green tiered maxi-dress for the stunt, was seen’swimming’ under and along the stage in a projected graphic while a splash effect was broadcast over the stadium following her jump.
She later resurfaced to perform songs from her current album, Midnights.
Viewers were blown away by the brilliant shift and applauded Taylor’s form as well.
‘This was a wild sequence from Taylor’s #ErasTour last night. She appears to dive off the stage and swim out to the crowd,’ shared one fan.
‘Aside from being a 12-time grammy winner, a doctor, a director, one of the most acclaimed songwriter of the music industry, and having a record breaking career in the arts, Taylor Swift is now searching for that swimming Olympic medal, look at that dive,’ joked another.
‘Excuse me Taylor Swift just did a dive head-first into the stage what [sic]’, was another amazed response.
Others couldn’t believe their eyes as another fan admitted: ‘The dive was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen I was so caught off guard LMAO [sic].’
The actress also dealt with a hair-raising onstage accident on the second night of her tour, which continues through August 9.
Taylor has also had an emotional moment in which she was spotted with teary eyes as she sung a song dedicated to her late grandma.
In concert footage, the singer may be seen blinking rapidly at one point while playing Marjorie.
Taylor’s grandmother, who was also a singer and pianist, died at the age of 74 in June 2003, when Taylor was about 13 years old.
