Madonna delighted fans when she stated that the rescheduled North American dates would be released soon.
The 64-year-old star stated that the rescheduled performances, which were put back due to a recent health concern, will take place immediately after the already announced UK and Europe gigs.
Tickets for her previously booked concerts will be honoured on the revised tour dates in advance of her newly scheduled events.
Despite her assurances to supporters that she will return to the stage, her announcement omitted Los Angeles and one night in New York from fulfilling tickets owing to a venue change.
The singer also expressed sorry for the difficulty caused to fans and stated that she planned to return to those markets in the future after cancelling a few gigs amid the rescheduling.
The Celebration Tour will take out this October with four sold-out gigs in London, followed by dates in Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Portugal, France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands throughout the rest of 2023.
Following her announcement, the North American leg will go off on December 13 at Barclays Centre in Brooklyn.
Madonna apologised for having to cancel gigs in Tulsa, Nashville, San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Phoenix, giving refunds at the original place of purchase.
Her announcement that she was returning on the road came after she spent time in ICU earlier this summer due to a severe health issue.
A statement from her manager Guy Oseary explained at the time: ‘On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU (intensive care unit).
‘Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.
‘At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.
‘We will share more details with you soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows.’
The Celebration Tour, touted as a “one-of-a-kind event,” will contain music from her collection spanning four decades.
All dates of Madonna’s next spectacle will also include special guest Bob the Drag Queen – real name Caldwell Tidicue.
It will be her first tour since the termination of her Madame X concerts in 2020, albeit some of these events were cancelled owing to knee and hip ailments.
