The Australian singer Tones and I, has stated that she secretly married her footballer fiancé in Bali.
Toni Watson, the star’s true name, announced the news on Instagram on Wednesday, gushing about marrying her ‘best friend,’ Jimmy Bedford.
She also shared a bevy of photographs from their wedding day, including her long-sleeved plain white gown and stunning matching bridal bouquet.
Her new spouse matched her flowers in his pocket handkerchief and wore a blue suit, white shirt, and patterned tie.
‘Well, we weren’t planning on spreading the news until after the single dropped but I MARRIED my best friend!’ she began her caption.
Segueing away from her personal life, she then added: ‘So anyway Pre save “I am free” click the link in my bio [sic]! Love’s the real winner!
Several of her renowned friends raced to the comment area to express their congrats.
‘You two 🙌🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ CONGRATS!!!!!!’ enthused Macklemore, while cricketer David Warne posted: ‘How goods this, congrats you two 👌 [sic].’
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause added: ‘I’m so so so happy for you guys!!!’
Jimmy uploaded his own images, including one that showed the pair saying vows from afar beneath a gazebo and provided a full-length view of Tones’ wedding gown and veil.
‘My best friend became my WIFE on the weekend! What a celebration of love it was!’ he wrote.
‘Thanks everyone for celebrating with us ❤️ @tonesandi’
Tones and Jimmy also let free during their wedding reception, when she wore a giant white hat and Jimmy stripped down to his waist while celebrating with their friends and family.
The Dancing Monkey hitmaker chose a cheerful peach colour for her several bridesmaids, each of whom wore a different style of gown.
After two years of dating, the couple became engaged in January 2022.
She publicised the news at the time by publishing a photo of them kissing while she flaunted her diamond ring.
Jimmy is a former bricklayer and current member of the Frankston Bombers, an Australian rules football team based in Victoria, Australia.
While his wife goes on tour, he now works as a stage technician on her technical team.
