Bebe Rexha has updated her tour after sustaining a horrific injury when someone hurled a phone at her face, generating a flood of fan love.
The 33-year-old had to stop a live performance in New York recently after a device was thrown in her direction, resulting in her holding her face in anguish and collapsing to the ground.
The singer was unable to return to the stage and was removed from the arena; she subsequently posted photos on Instagram showing bruising on her left eye and a gash below her left brow.
‘Im good,’ she wrote in her caption, before sharing a new post about the incident and her plans to continue her tour.
‘Although the show ended in an unfortunate way it was still an amazing show in my hometown. Thank you so Much New York. I love You. The Tour must go on!!!’ she penned.
Bebe continued: ‘Philly next! Which show you coming to?! #bestfnnightofmylifetour.’
Fans sent a slew of encouraging comments in the comments area, with one individual commenting: ‘I love you!! It was a great night I’m so sorry that happened queen.’
Another person commented: ‘You’re a queen !!!! Nothing stops you !!!💓💓💓💓💓.’
Someone else described Bebe as a ‘trooper’, while one person added: ‘Legend behaviour.’
Bebe, whose true name is Bleta Rexha, is presently on tour in the United States and will perform in Philadelphia tonight, Tuesday, June 20.
The Grammy-nominated musician will then play in Maryland, Atlanta, Orlando, Houston, Dallas, and Los Angeles before concluding her tour in London at the end of July.
Her tour will continue in Germany, with performances set in Germany and the Netherlands following her visit in London.
Bebe will next play in Canada in August before flying to Brazil in early September.
After being hit by the phone, Bebe shared a video on Instagram of her bruised face, captioning the clip: ‘Still making a black eye sexy lolol.’
Earlier this month, she wrote on Instagram: ‘Loving tour so much. I’ve been having a blast!!!!’
