Ghostface has returned with a deadly vengeance after more than a decade for a thrilling fifth installment of the iconic Scream franchise.
The ’90s slasher flick became an immediate cult classic for being equal parts terrifyingly gory and brilliantly hilarious – with the following three films also receiving critical and public acclaim (apart from Scream 3, of course).

When does Scream 5 come out?
Scream 5 was released in UK cinemas on Friday, January 14, 2022.
Can you stream Scream 5?
Currently, you can’t stream the new Scream movie.
However, it will be coming to Paramount’s own streaming service Paramount+ in February.
Paramount+ is not yet available in the UK, but will launch on Sky platforms at some point in 2022. The date of this is yet to be announced.

What is Scream 5 about?
The official Scream 5 synopsis reads: ‘Twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro, California, a new killer dons the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past.’
The tagline for the new flick is: ‘It’s always someone you know’.

Who is in the Scream 5 cast?
The Scream 5 cast features a mix of old and new Woodsboro citizens for Ghostface to pick off.
New additions to the franchise include Melissa Barrera as Sam Carpenter, positioned to be the movie’s Final Girl. Melissa is best known for appearing in In The Heights.
The Boys’ Jack Quaid stars as Richi Kirsch while 13 Reasons Why star Dylan Minette appears as Wes Hicks.
