To All The Boys and The Kissing Booth are set to end this this year with their third instalments, as Netflix gears up to release a movie every week in 2021.
The streaming giant released a sneak-peek of 27 of the movies set to grace our screens this year, with stars like Gal Gadot, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Ryan Reynolds teasing what’s to come.
As the teaser shared exciting snippets and their stars and directors weighed in, The Kissing Booth actress Joey King (Elle Evans) said: ‘I love seeing an incredible story come to an end.’
To All The Boys star Lana Condor (Lara-Jean Covey) added: ‘Hey! That’s what I was gonna say,’ with fans sure to go wild over the clip of the movie, which shows Noah Centineo (Peter Kavinsky) getting down on one knee.
However, all isn’t as it seems, as Noah interjected: ‘Woah! We’re not gonna give away the ending right now are we?’
‘Definitely not,’ Joey and Lana told him.
Well, now we’re intrigued.
Elsewhere, the platform is set to release Lin Manuel Miranda’s directorial debut, Tick Tick… Boom, and Halle Berry’s, Bruised.
Jeymes Samuel is directing Western movie The Harder They Fall, while Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer are starring in Thunder Force.
Meanwhile, Amy Adams stars in thriller The Woman in the Window, while Chris Hemsworth is taking on sci-fi Escape From Spiderhead and Jennifer Garner hyped up family comedy Yes Day.
We could not be more ready.
Lana and Noah finished filming To All The Boys in 2019, with the pair saying a sad farewell to the franchise.
‘Tonight was my last night as Peter Kavinsky,’ the actor said. ‘I hope you all love these last instalments as much as we do.
‘Forever grateful to every person who told this story with us.’
He also went on to thank his co-star Lana, as well as film producer Matthew Kaplan and cinematographer Michael Fimognari.
‘Grateful to every person who told this story with us,’ he added.
