The first teaser trailer for Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon has finally arrived, offering fans their first look at the Martin Scorsese epic.
The much-anticipated Western film, based on a true story, will be released in theatres on October 6, with a running duration of three hours and 26 minutes, before arriving on Apple TV+ shortly thereafter.
As Ernest Burkhart, Leonardo DiCaprio leads the star-studded cast, with on-screen love interest Lily Gladstone, who plays Mollie Kyle.
They are joined by a slew of other big-name actors, including Robert De Niro, Brenda Fraser, Jesse Plemons, and John Lithgow.
The gripping trailer, which lasts just under 90 seconds, introduces viewers to Ernest as he goes into the history of the Osage people, detailing how avarice drew ‘hungry wolves’ to the area.
‘Can you spot the wolves in this picture?’ he asks again in the brief footage, amid images of violence and families torn apart.
Fans couldn’t get enough of the clip and took to Twitter to discuss it, lavishing admiration on the outstanding performers.
‘Fantastic teaser. Hot damn. So glad we finally have footage,’ a fan penned. ‘The cast is sensational, and Scorsese still cranks up the tension like nobody else.

Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI, by David Grann, is the basis for the forthcoming film.
‘At the start of the twentieth century, oil gave a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight,’ according to the official summary.The prosperity of these Native Americans drew European intruders who misled, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder.
