Nicolas Cage’s new movie about a kidnapped pig currently has a 97%  fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes

Nicolas Cage’s new movie Pig is being lapped up by critics with the flick scoring a 97% approval score on Rotten Tomatoes and 83% on Metacritic.

The actor’s newest film tells the story of a truffle hunter who returns to Portland, Oregan to seek out his kidnapped pig.

The thriller’s trailer opens with Oscar winner Nicolas, 57, as his character Rob whistling for his prized pig which trots after him out the door and into the woods.

The pair can then be seen trying to find truffles collectively earlier than they return house with the pig sitting comfortably on his mattress.

Rob is abruptly seen being thrown to the ground, earlier than he comes spherical and makes an attempt to whistle out to his pig.

In a voiceover, Rob says: ‘I remember every meal I ever cooked, I remember every person I ever served,’ earlier than somebody replies: ‘You lived your life for them and they don’t even see you, you don’t even see your self.’
